Chili Fig Spread Tartine

This open-faced sandwich has it all; sweet, savory, spicy and crunch. This is a great weekend afternoon lunch when you’re short on time but still want something substantial. INGREDIENTS

1 tbsp olive oil
4 tbsp Divina Chili Fig Spread
1/2 c ricotta
12 slices prosciutto
1 c baby arugula
1 tsp orange zest
Salt and pepper, to taste

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Drizzle olive oil on bread and lightly bake until warm.
  2. Remove the bread from the oven and layer with Chili Fig Spread, ricotta and prosciutto.
  3. Return to the oven and bake until the cheese is lightly bubbling and the bread is golden.
  4. Top with arugula, orange zest, salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Serve immediately.
