This open-faced sandwich has it all; sweet, savory, spicy and crunch. This is a great weekend afternoon lunch when you’re short on time but still want something substantial. INGREDIENTS
1 tbsp olive oil
4 tbsp Divina Chili Fig Spread
1/2 c ricotta
12 slices prosciutto
1 c baby arugula
1 tsp orange zest
Salt and pepper, to taste
INSTRUCTIONS
- Drizzle olive oil on bread and lightly bake until warm.
- Remove the bread from the oven and layer with Chili Fig Spread, ricotta and prosciutto.
- Return to the oven and bake until the cheese is lightly bubbling and the bread is golden.
- Top with arugula, orange zest, salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve immediately.
