Sour Cherry Spread Oatmeal Bars

Loaded with oats, seeds, and a generous layer of Divina Sour Cherry Spread, these oatmeal bars are a great make-ahead snack. Bake a batch and enjoy them throughout the week.

INGREDIENTS

Dry Ingredients

4 c quick oats
1 c crushed cashews, or pumpkin seeds
1/2 c hemp seeds
1/2 c chopped dark chocolate
1/4 c brown coconut sugar
1 tsp sea salt
1/2 tsp cinnamon

Wet Ingredients

1/2 c oat milk
1/4 c honey
1/4 c olive oil
1/4 c tahini
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 c Divina Sour Cherry Spread

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Preheat the oven to 325°F.
  2. In a large bowl, mix together all dry ingredients. Set aside.
  3. In a medium bowl, whisk together all wet ingredients except the Divina Sour Cherry Spread. Slowly mix the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients until fully combined.
  4. Line an 8 x 8-inch baking pan with parchment paper. Spoon the oat mixture into the pan and press down firmly until flat.
  5. Generously dollop Divina Sour Cherry Spread on top of the oat mixture. Press the dollops down using the back of a spoon.
  6. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes.
  7. Remove from the oven. Carefully transfer the parchment paper with the oatmeal bake to a wire rack to cool completely.
  8. Cut into bars and place in a sealed container to enjoy throughout the week.
