Crispy sourdough, gooey cheese and a layer of Divina Peruvian Pepper Jam make this grilled cheese anything but ordinary.
INGREDIENTS
1 1/2 tbsp Divina Peruvian Pepper Jam
2 slices American cheese
2 slices mozzarella cheese
2 slices sourdough bread
2 tbsp butter
INSTRUCTIONS
- Heat 1 tbsp butter in a nonstick or cast-iron skillet over medium-low heat.
- Spread the Peruvian Pepper Jam on the bread and sandwich it with the American and mozzarella cheeses.
- Press the sandwich lightly and place it in the skillet.
- Cook, flipping once and adding the remaining butter as needed, until the bread is toasted and the cheese is melted, about 3 to 5 minutes per side.
- Serve immediately.
