Peruvian Pepper Jam Grilled Cheese

Crispy sourdough, gooey cheese and a layer of Divina Peruvian Pepper Jam make this grilled cheese anything but ordinary.

INGREDIENTS

1 1/2 tbsp Divina Peruvian Pepper Jam
2 slices American cheese
2 slices mozzarella cheese
2 slices sourdough bread
2 tbsp butter

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Heat 1 tbsp butter in a nonstick or cast-iron skillet over medium-low heat.
  2. Spread the Peruvian Pepper Jam on the bread and sandwich it with the American and mozzarella cheeses.
  3. Press the sandwich lightly and place it in the skillet.
  4. Cook, flipping once and adding the remaining butter as needed, until the bread is toasted and the cheese is melted, about 3 to 5 minutes per side.
  5. Serve immediately.
