Crisp latkes topped with creamy whipped ricotta and a spoonful of Calabrian Chili Orange Spread make a sweet and savory bite with just the right amount of heat. Serve them as an appetizer, brunch addition, or festive holiday snack.
INGREDIENTS
Pre-made latkes
2 c fresh ricotta
1/4 tsp lemon zest
1 tsp freshly squeezed lemon juice
1 tsp kosher salt
2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
4 tbsp Calabrian Chili Orange Spread
INSTRUCTIONS
- Place the ricotta, lemon zest, lemon juice, and salt in a food processor and puree.
- With the motor running, slowly drizzle in 1 tbsp of the olive oil to emulsify into the ricotta. Turn off the food processor and scoop the ricotta into a serving bowl.
- Dollop the whipped ricotta onto the latkes and finish each with 1 tsp or more of Calabrian Chili Orange Spread. Drizzle with the remaining 1 tbsp olive oil before serving.
