Ingredients:
4 egg yolks*
1/3 cup sugar, plus 1 tablespoon
1 pint whole milk
1 cup heavy cream
3 ounces bourbon
4 egg whites
½ - 1 jar Divina Date Spread (depending on desired strength)
Instructions:

In the bowl of a stand mixer, beat the egg yolks until they lighten in color

Gradually add 1/3 cup sugar and continue to beat until it is completely dissolved. Add the milk, cream and bourbon and stir to combine. Set aside.

Place the egg whites in a stand mixer and beat on high until soft peaks appear.
- With the mixer still running, gradually add the 1 tablespoon of sugar and continue beating until stiff peaks form.
- Heat the date spread in a microwave-safe bowl until its just runny (aprox. 20 second). Gently fold the date spread into the egg white.
- Fold egg white mixture into liquid ingredients. Serve immediately or chill.
NOTE: If you'd prefer to use store bought eggnog, skip steps 1 and 2.
