Fig Spread, Almond & Chocolate Tart

INGREDIENTS

1 sheet defrosted puff pastry
1 c Divina Orange Fig Spread
1/2 c sliced almonds
1 oz bittersweet chocolate, grated

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F.
  2. Lay the defrosted puff pastry sheet on a parchment paper-lined baking sheet. Using the tip of a paring knife, lightly score a border about 1/2 inch from the edge of the pastry.
  3. Prick the dough within the border all over with a fork to prevent it from puffing up too much during baking.
  4. Spread the Orange Fig Spread in an even layer over the pastry.
  5. Scatter the sliced almonds on top.
  6. Bake until well browned around the edges, about 30 minutes.
  7. Grate the bittersweet chocolate over the tart while still warm.
