These cheesy hand pies are flaky, savory and comforting. Made with Divina Organic Pitted Greek Olive Mix, they bring the perfect briny bite to this chicken dinner idea you’ll make again and again.
INGREDIENTS
½ c Divina Organic Pitted Greek Olive Mix, chopped
2 c shredded rotisserie or leftover chicken
1½ c shredded cheddar cheese
6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
1 tbsp honey mustard
1 green onion, sliced
Salt and pepper, to taste
1 package puff pastry (2 sheets), thawed
1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
INSTRUCTIONS
- Preheat oven to 400°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper
- In a bowl, mix chicken, cheese, bacon, olives, honey mustard and green onion. Season with salt and pepper.
- Roll out puff pastry on a floured surface and cut into squares or circles.
- Spoon the filling onto half of the pastry pieces, leaving space at the edges. Brush edges with egg wash.
- Top with another piece of pastry, press edges with a fork to seal, and cut small slits on top.
- Brush with egg wash and bake for 18 to 22 minutes until golden brown.
- Let cool slightly and enjoy!
