Nobody has to know you didn’t bake the cake. And besides, all they’ll be paying attention to is the sweet and tart cherry spread with a homemade bourbon whipped cream! This is a perfect summer dessert to bring to a block party or BBQ.
- 1 pound cake, store-made
- 1 jar Divina Sour Cherry Spread
- 1 cup heavy cream, chilled
- 1 tbsp bourbon
- ½ tsp sugar
- ¼ tsp pure vanilla extract
Beat cream, bourbon, sugar, and vanilla extract with an electric mixer until the cream is softly whipped. Slice a store-made pound cake and layer with a spoonful of cherry spread. Top with bourbon whipped cream and serve
